Deck dreams

Our first stop: The Outdoor Skyline Deck. Yes, in addition to the 38th floor’s SkyPool and Club Rooms, Hub15 features its own outdoor retreat. You may call it our best-kept secret — although it’s been one of the most popular spots for work-from-homers and off-the-clock sun-seekers alike since the warmer weather arrived.

Now, it’s quickly becoming a members’ playground, elevated and abuzz. Whether you want to greet the sunrise, coffee in hand, or huddle around the fire pit as the Boston skyline lights up the backdrop, The Outdoor Skyline Deck delivers.

The setting is lush with lawn areas, overflowing planter boxes, and small trees wrapped in string lights. Fire up some burgers at one of the grill stations overlooking the Zakim Bridge. Or lead your entourage to one of the secluded entertainment spaces, complete with outdoor TVs, grills, and kitchenettes. Life is good up here.

It’s hard to leave, but we’re heading back inside. There’s so much more to see.

You’re invited

Look for a wall of windows, harbor and skyline views, a flood of light. You have entered The Living Room.

This three-room luxury amenity space stretches across the building’s entire southeast wall. In each room, plush seating abounds. Wherever you choose to sit, stunning views follow — the meandering Charles River, planes taking off from Logan Airport, the entire downtown silhouette, the North End, and boats coming in and out of the Harbor.

If you can take your eyes off the windows, you can catch a game on the 70-inch Ultra-HD TV in the southern-most room. Walk past the double-sided fireplace to the sleek and well-appointed central lounge of The Living Room. You may feel like you’re sitting in a work of art (and you wouldn’t be wrong).

What’s that noise? It sounds like the northmost room is picking up. This is any host’s dream entertaining space. Again, find yourself in the company of floor-to-ceiling windows — and Wolf and Viking appliances. If you’re a star chef, here’s your chance to shine. Or, let someone else work the 5-burner Viking gas cooktop as you sip a glass of wine at the waterfall entertainment bar. When it’s time to eat, invite your guests to grab a chair at the 8-seat dining table, followed by after-dinner drinks at the tête-à-tête club chairs. Here, you’re perfectly positioned to overlook the whole scene — skyline, friends, and all.

Game on

If you’re up for some friendly competition, proceed through the adjacent SHHHH! Room to The Game Room. Equipped with everything needed to get your game on — pool and poker tables, a fireplace, TVs, and ample seating for non-players — The Game Room feels like an extension of The Deck, separated only by wall-to-wall windows.

Game over doesn’t mean the night can’t continue. The Den is our next stop. This luxury amenity offers an upscale take on the basement version, starring a put-your-feet-up sectional, a 77-inch screen, and floor-to-ceiling drapes to cover the equally large windows when the cinematic experience requires complete darkness.

Breathless X 2

A night of fine food and spirits might leave you particularly eager for a morning workout. Fortunately, Hub15 features a fitness tour de force.

Enter The Gym, as a radiant display of light pours in from three sides of the expansive space. If revving the Peloton doesn’t leave you breathless, the views certainly will. The Zakim Bridge is right in your field of vision whether you’re biking, running, or lifting. The Gym also includes The Studio, another bright space for on-demand virtual yoga classes, a round of interactive boxing, or TRX suspension training. Needless to say, your workout includes sweeping views.
